New article processing charges from January 2026
NEW ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES (APC)
- Payments from Argentina: ARS 120,000 per article of up to 8 pages, with an additional charge of ARS 20,000 for each extra page.
- Payments from abroad: USD 100 per article of up to 8 pages, with an additional charge of USD 15 for each extra page.
SPECIAL DISCOUNTS
Members of Asociación Física Argentina (AFA) with membership dues up to date: One free publication (APC = $0) for an article of up to 8 pages per calendar year. Additional pages will be charged at the regular rate.
The requirements to access this benefit are as follows: (a) the applicant must be the corresponding author of the manuscript; (b) membership dues to the Asociación Física Argentina must be fully paid at the time of article acceptance; and (c) in the case of multiple authors, at least half of the authors must be members of the Association with their dues up to date.
This benefit is not cumulative from one calendar year to the next.
Members of associations with agreements with AFA: A 20% discount on the regular APC values for members with dues up to date of associations that have a current agreement with AFA (see list at https://www.fisica.org.ar/socios/asociaciones-en-convenio/
). Applicable to one article of up to 8 pages per calendar year; additional pages must be paid at the regular rate.
Members of other Physics societies in LATAM:
A 10% discount on the regular APC values for payments from abroad for members with dues up to date of other Physics associations in Latin America. Applicable to one article of up to 8 pages per calendar year; additional pages must be paid at the regular rate.
